Roku, The Company which focus in developing streaming media player, launched the new Roku Streaming Stick (RSS) recently. The new product will change TV sets into connected devices.
What is the advantage and disadvantage of this new product?
The advantages are:
- Smaller, it doesn’t need more space to attached on TV
- Doesn’t need a remote control
The disadvantage is:
- The new Roku Streaming Stick need a televion that has HDMI ports with MHL or mobile high definition link enabled. The function of this feature is to offer 1080 pixels video and digital audio as well as also charging the connected device. The TVs which support that function areis still limited today, as only Samsung and Toshiba are equipped with MHL now.
Roku Streaming Stick (RSS) forms as USB flash drive. The RSS has the power of a Roku player in a size of a USB. It connects into the HDMI port on your TV and offers up the entire Roku experience, including access to services like Pandora, Hulu Plus, Cranckle and Netflix.
