YouTube Slam Allows Us to Votes Video Clip Battles

Viral Videos are being met against each other in a battle to prove which one is more popular under YouTube’s new Slam service.

The Google-owned clip website announced that it will release a new “head-to-head” each week and requesting users to vote which one is more favourite for them. The firm described the offering as the “video discovery experiment”

Experts said that the new concept was designed to keep the visitors longer, royal, and have a deeper relationship with YouTube.

Youtube’s blog said that they were initially launching the service for five categories: music, comedy, cute, dance, and bizarre.

Visitors’ votes will determine whether  the clips will move up to the top of the leader board or not. They claim the service as a “points for predicting the crowd favourites” which allow them to see how their predictive power compared to the other voters at the end of each week. The firm’s software engineer, Tomas Izo, Said “You will be the part of the next big thing.”

LG Releases the World’s Largest OLED TV Panel

LG TV is ready to release the OLED TV panel with 55 inches display and comes with a contrast ratio of more than 100,000:1, according to the company. Not only that, the panel will only be 5 mm thin and has a color gamut that is wider than the one that is currently produced.  These characteristics make it the only candidate who bring OLED TV technology to the masses in a market that is still dominated by LCD and 3D TV.

Sang Beom Han, the CEO and Vice President of LG Display said that although we can predict that OLED technology will be the future of TV display, the technology has been limited to smaller display sizes. Because of the high costs, until now, LG’s 55 inch OLED TV panes have overcome these barriers.

If you are so interested in this new technology from LG, you may expect to hear more about this OLED TV product at the next CES, along with the WiDi-supporting CINEMA 3D Smart TV, also from LG which will be announced in the first quarter next year.

Sony Ericsson Will Have 13 MP with LTE Superphone

Sony Ericsson is now ready to introduce their new Smartphone.  According to the information from the official Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), Sony Ericsson is going to release the LT28at, a high-end smartphone which the company claimed as the “Super Phone”

Unfortunately, the details on the Bluetooth SIG site are still very limited. However, this Sony Ericsson LT28at is going to serve you with its 13 MP camera, a 4,55-inch 720p “Reality Display,” and the LTE support. All of the features will put it somewhere at the top of the company’s current smartphone lineup.

WiFi, BlueTooth, Front Facing camera and LED Flash are also included in this gadget, just like the other smartphones today. We don’t know the exact release date actually, but I think we can assumethat  we will see the full specification of this Sony Ericsson’s superphone in January, at the next year’s CES.

Newer Software Version, Kindle Fire Gets a better performance!

Amazon has released a new update for their tablet Kindle Fire. Supported by newer version 6.2.1, kindle fire brings several performance fixes and a couple of new features.

Kindle Fire users now have the ability to protect their Wi-Fi access by adding a password and they can modify which items will be display on the carousel.

While amazon has never publicly acknowledged the performance issues, the update is clearly designed to address some user’s problem. The software version 6.1.1 upgrade is unstable and the performance and responsiveness of its touch navigation should be improved in this rapidly sold kindle fire.

The update will be automatically delivered to kindle fire owners, but if you want to get the manual install for any kind of reason, you may do so by following the instructions here.

Have you downloaded and installed the update? Then do not forget to share your information with us.
