Do you think that you are addicted to internet? If you think so, you’re not the only one. According to an informal survey, 61% of people feel addicted to the internet and never really quit browsing. SodaHead, the opinion pollster has surveyed 602 visitors to their website on February 16 about their internet addiction. They found that many people think they are addicted.

Moreover, they also found that women has more addiction to men with 64% of women are addicted compared to 55% of men. Interestingly, respondents who addicted to other activities are less likely addicted to the internet. For example, only 48% smokers are addicted, compared to 65% non-smokers. It also applied to drinkers.

Among the addicted respondents, 73% of them aged between 13 and 17. As the respondents getting older, their addiction is decreasing except the age of more than 65, who are more addicted than people between 45 and 64.

Interestingly, the poll found that the users with more time online are less likely to be internet addicts. It happens on respondents aged between 45 and 54 who spends the most time online each week, almost 40 browsing hours.
