After releasing the things that people see on your Facebook profile page, EyeTrackShop has released another result from their study. They are now studying what people are seeing on the Facebook brand pages. We all know that the brands have using apps and splashy profile photos. Actually, people are more interested in the Facebook wall. The 30 participants of the study take four times longer than the other part of the page.
Moreover, people are seeing the smaller pictures above the wall for about 85% of the time while the “Likes” column only has 58% of the time. In summary, the study which was conducted for the brand pages of Coca-Cola, Victoria’s Secret, Red Bull, and some more has proved that content is the most important thing as the visitors always saw the wall first.
Beside that, profile picture can be the difference between visiting and not visiting your brand page. There is only a small amount of attention for the profile photos but still your profile picture will affect the people to click on your page. The only exception is on Victoria’s Secret which is the only page whose profile photo getting the most attention.
