In the recent years, social media recruiting is one of the new ways for Human Resources Department to recruit new workers. However now, mobile recruitment is emerging and the topic has made its way into the mainstream conversation. Actually, employers have too small knowledge about how the job seekers using their mobile devices. It means that they can’t take full advantage from that.
According to a study from Potentialpark, the numberof employers who implement mobile recruiting strategies via apps and mobile browsing are still limited. Potentialpark has studied more than 30,000 job seekers in the world and analyzed the mobile carrier from more than 350 employers in U.S., Europe, and Asia.
From the study, there are 19% of job seekers who use their mobile devices for their career, only 7% have the mobile version of their career site, and even only 3% have mobile app for job searching. We all know that mobile phone has a very important role in our daily lives. But from the data, we can see that job seekers haven’t use the full potential of their mobile phone.
